St. Cloud, Minn. --- Freshman Ashley Ahn picked up a pair of individual titles for Minnesota State Saturday afternoon, however it was not enough as the Mavericks suffered a 165-78 defeat to fellow Midwest Conference rival St. Cloud State.

Ah won the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 1:59.11 and touched first in the 100-yard butterfly in :59.48.

Other Mavericks finishing in the top-five include:  Sophomore Marissa Reeve (2^nd, 1,000-yard free, 11:16.77; 3^rd, 500-yard freestyle, 5:29.21), sophomore Kelsea Smith (5^th, 1,000-yard free, 11:28.76), senior Kristin Hayes (2^nd, 200-yard freestyle, 2:00.99; 2^nd, 100-yard freestyle, :55.37), junior Stefanie Edwards(5^th, 200-yard freestyle, 2:02.12; 4^th, 100-yard free, :56.73), senior Chelsea Chapman (2^nd, 50-yard freestyle, :25.71), freshman Nora Stauber (3^rd, 50-yard freestyle, :25.74), junior Megan Pickert (5^th, 50-yard freestyle, :25.76), junior Emily Timm (2^nd, 200-yard IM, 2:15.87), sophomore Tabetha Temperley (5^th, 200-yard IM, 2:17.16; 5^th, 100-yard Fly, 1:03.11), senior Janel Duffy (3^rd, 1-meter dive, 228.55; 4^th, 3-meter dive, 224.30), junior Beth Keskey (5^th, 1-meter dive, 205.95; 3^rd, 3-meter dive, 225.80), sophomore Amber McHugh(4^th, 100-yard breaststroke, 1:11.27), freshman Nicole Bennett (5^th, 100-yard breaststroke, 1:12.23).

In the relays, MSU turned in a second-place finish in the 200-yard medley relay with a time of 1:52.60 to go with a fourth-place finish of 11:28.76.  The Mavericks turned in second and fourth-place finishes in the 400-yard freestyle relay with times of 3:44.48 and 3:50.59 respectively.

The Mavericks are off until the St. Olaf Cows Invite on Nov. 6.
