About the MSU-UM Series: The Mavericks trail Minnesota in the series between the two schools by a 28-5-6 margin. Senior forward Kael Mouillierat is MSU’s active career scoring leader vs. the Gophers with 3-5--8 in 13 games. Head coach Troy Jutting owns a 4-24-4 mark in games vs. Minnesota.
Mavericks Most Recently: Minnesota State stands 6-7-1 overall and is 4-7-1 in Western Collegiate Hockey Association action after picking up a home league sweep over Michigan Tech last weekend. In doing so, the Mavericks, who bested the Huskies by the scores of 5-2 and 3-2, earned their first sweep of a conference opponent since Jan. 30-31, 2009 when they downed Minnesota 6-2 and 3-1.
Student Tickets Pre-Distribution: MSU student ticket distribution for the Maverick men’s hockey home game with Minnesota is scheduled for Wednesday, Dec. 2.
Distribution of the 1100 MSU student tickets (valid current Mavcard required) will take place in the Taylor Center Hall of Champions beginning at noon.
