Taylor Center
Opened in fall of 2000, 4,800-seat Taylor Center serves as the home for Minnesota State's men's basketball, women's basketball, women's volleyball and wrestling teams.
In addition to state-of-the art team locker rooms and weight training facility, Taylor Center also houses coaching staff offices, a satellite athletic training facility, classroom spaces and storage areas. The MSU Admissions office is also located here and the 5,000 square-foot Hall of Champions, located on concourse level, showcases the University's proud history.
In addition to Maverick athletic events and other sporting activities,Taylor Center also hosts the University's commencement ceremonies, major concerts and lectures. Prominent businessman and MSU alum Glen Taylor donated more than $10-million towards the construction of the facility.
Minnesota State announced improvements to Bresnan Arena in 2023 with the addition of a state of the art Daktronics centerhung videoboard, scorers table, and improvements to lighting and sound systems.
The Maverick men's basketball team hosted NCAA Division II Central Region basketball tournaments in 2010, 2011, 2014 and 2024. Minnesota State men's basketball won Region Tournaments in 2011 and 2024. Minnesota State women's basketball hosted and won the 2009 NCAA Division II Central Region tournament in 2009.
