MANKATO, Minn. --- The Minnesota State women's basketball team continues Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) play traveling to Winona State on Friday at 6:00 p.m. The Mavericks will conclude the weekend facing Upper Iowa on Saturday. Tip-off is scheduled for 4:00 p.m.
Mavericks at a Glance: Minnesota State (1-6, 0-2 NSIC) enters the week on a two-game losing skid. The Mavericks fell to Wayne State, 81-69, last weekend before dropping an 80-55 decision to Augustana at Taylor Center.

Claire Ziegler leads Minnesota State with a team-best 10.4 points per game and 5.9 rebounds per contest. Senior

Logan Anderson netted a career-high 19 points and shot 63.6% from the field against Wayne State. She has started the last four games and has reached double figures in scoring four times this season.

Claire Ziegler is looking to become the 14th member of the MSU 800-point/500 rebound club. She currently sits at 754 points and 472 rebounds over 76 career games.

Emilee Thiesse has totaled 96 career wins with an overall career record of 96-57 (72-40 NSIC). She has led the Mavericks to two NCAA postseason appearances and boasts a 53-19 (.736) record at Taylor Center.

Logan Anderson led the way connecting on three triples and shooting .500 from behind the arc.
