Kline Named NSIC Libero of the Year as Five Mavericks Receive Conference Awards

MANKATO, Minn. – Five members of the Minnesota State volleyball program earned All NSIC honors following an outstanding 2025 campaign. Senior libero Ellie Kline headlined the group as she was named the NSIC Libero of the Year for her exceptional defensive performance.

Kline anchored the Mavericks back row all season, appearing in all 85 sets and finishing with 449 digs, an average of 5.28 per set, which led the NSIC in conference play. She recorded double digit digs in 24 of 26 matches and ranks fourth in MSU program history with 1,465 career digs.

Sophomore setter Jadyn Lester joined Kline on the All-NSIC First Team. Lester appeared in all 26 matches and directed one of the conference's most productive offenses, totaling 935 assists on the season. She alsoposted 55 service aces, one of the top marks in the league.

Three Mavericks were selected to the All NSIC Second Team: senior middle blocker Emily Kern, junior middle blocker Avery Rosenberg, and sophomore right side hitter Avery Klein.

Kern was a dominant presence in the middle, leading the team with 83 total blocks while also delivering 214 kills. Fellow middle blocker Rosenberg brought steady production as well, averaging 2.94 kills per set and adding 58 blocks to her season totals. On the right side, Klein fueled the offense with a team-high 250 kills and supplemented her scoring with 34 service aces and 46 blocks.

Minnesota State returns to action on Friday, November 14, traveling to Moorhead, Minnesota to face MSU Moorhead. First serve is scheduled for 6 p.m., with live coverage available on the NSIC Network.
