Northfield, Minn. --- The Minnesota State women's cross country team finished seventh out of 16 teams in the 2009 St. Olaf Invitational Cross Country Meet. Sophomore Ali Paul finished second with a time of 22:28.
Senior Meagan McConnell finished 27th with a time of 24:07, while senior Amanda Dettman recorded a time of 24:27 (#35). Junior Jenny Hoese finished with a time of 24:45 (#47). Closing out the top five MSU runners was freshman Katherine Anundson finishing 52nd with a time of 24:57. Also running for the Mavericks was senior Lindsay Broughten (25:23) and junior Jen Lang (25:25).
Minnesota State returns to action September 16, 2009 in Minneapolis, Minn., for the Griak Invitational.
