Three-year letterwinner in gymnastics at MSU...Placed eighth in vault ('74), eighth on balance beam and ninth all-around in'75 in state competition...Qualified for regionals individually three times ('73-'75)...Placed seventh and tenth, respectively, in vaulting ('74-'75) at regionals...Co-captain junior and senior rear...Team placed third overall at state to qualify for regional competition in both '74 and '75...Team placed seventh both years at regionals...Received the Roger Ritter Service Award for outstanding service in health, physical education and recreation in 1976...Earned a B.S. Degree in teaching physical education in 1976...Coached various volleyball and gymnastics teams in Minnesota and Iowa.
