Started as regular in 1958 his freshman year in basketball...Four-year letterwinner...One of the first big men MSU had in the basketball program...All-Conference Player for three years...Led Northern Intercollegiate Conference in scoring three times (1958-59, 1959-60 and 1960-61) and was conference MVP in 1961...Helped lead MSC to NIC titles his junior and senior years and held the MSU scoring record for 28 years with 1720 career points,,,In 1961, was MSU Athlete of the Year, Snow King, UPI Small College All-American, a member of Who's Who in College Division and co-captain...Coached at Bethany Junior College...Played service basketball from 1963-65...Coached basketball at both Janesville High School and at Jackson High School where he won two district championships.
