Played major role in the return of MSU to the North Central Conference in the early 1980s...Served as MSU institutional representative from 1981 to 1990 and during that time served on the Budget Committee, Marketing Task Force, Personnel Committee and as President of the NCC in 1989-90...Was a major advocate for the addition of women's sports into the conference and equity for the female athlete...Served as MSU's Director of Admissions before being appointed as head of the Public Relations/Fundraising unit of MSU.
