As a sophmore in 1956 attended the first National Collegiate Women's Golf Tournament. Also attended her junior and senior seasons...Captured 16 state golf titles and in all won six Minnesota Women's Golf Association Match Play Championships, six State Amateur Championships...Awarded MSU Harold J. Fitterer Distinguished Alumni Service Award in 1983...Inducted into the Minnesota Golf Hall of Fame in 1993...Named by the Minneapolis Star Tribune as one of Minnesota's All-Time Greatest Golfers (men and women) (April 4, 1994)...Ranked seventh on MSU's Female Athletes of the Century list.
