Track and field team captain junior and senior seasons...All-American in 1969 and 1970...Northern Intercollegiate Conference individual champion...Member of North Central Conference champion team in 1969 and Northern Intercollegiate Conference championship teams in 1968 and 1970...At time of induction held MSU record in the 440 event with a time of 48.0...Coach was MSU legendary Earl "Bud" Myers...Transferred to MSU from the University of Iowa, graduated with Health/Physical Education Degree in 1971.
