Established school record in heptathlon in 1981 when she scored 4,797 points at the AIAW Division II national track and field championships. Her point total ranked her third and she earned All-American honors. Also established school record in the long jump with 18-2 1/2 effort...Captured MAIAW heptathlon title as a senior in 1981 with 4,5423 points...Set school record when she won the MAIAW pentathlon in 1980 with 3,667 mark...Has served as head coach of cross country and track and field programs at Northwest Missouri State ('85-88), MSU ('88-93) and Carleton (1993-present)...Henderson, Minn., native served as USA national heptathlon coach in 1996...Ranked fifth on MSU's Female Athletes of the Century list.
