Guided Maverick football program for 21 years (1981-2001)...108 career wins is the most by any MSU football coach...Led MSU to first NCAA postseason appearance when Mavericks captured school's first North Central Conference title in 1987...MSU went 9-3 that year and was 8-1 in league play...Directed team to second postseason appearance and finished with 8-4 mark in 1991...MSU captured second NCC title and gained third postseason appearance in 1993. Mavericks established school record with 10-3 mark...MSU downed Missouri Southern in NCAA first round game for school's first-ever postseason victory before losing in quarterfinals at North Dakota...44 players were named All-NCC First Team and 30 garnered All-America honors during tenure...Two players (Jamie Pass and Josh Nelson) were Harlon Hill finalists...Currently serves as the Director of Athletics at the University of Dubuque.
