Biography

As a Maverick:   MSU's team captain for 2009-10.  Three-year letterwinner enters the year having played in 71 consecutive games.

2008-09:  Tied for fourth on MSU’s scoring charts with 12-16—28...Scored at least one point in nine of the last 12 games (3-8—11) of the season....Achieved career highs for goals, assists and points and tied for third on the team with a +6....Tallied three SHG to rank second on the team...Had two assists in 5-1 win at St. Cloud State (March 6)...Scored twice in 4-3 loss at North Dakota (Feb. 14)...Had two assists in 3-1 win at Minnesota (Jan. 31)...Had two points including GWG in 4-3 victory over Nebraska-Omaha Jan. 3... One of three players on the roster to have scored at least one power play goal, one shorthanded goal and one game-winning goal in 2008-09 - had two PPGs, three SHG and one GWG during course of season...One of five players on the team to see action in all 38 games.

2007-08:  Had two assists in the three-game WCHA first-round play-off series vs. Minnesota...Tallied 9-13--22 for 2007-08...Racked up 4-8--12 in the last 16 games of the season to move into a fifth-place tie on MSU scoring charts...Had a goal and an assist in MSU’s 5-1 win at Denver Feb. 1...73 shots on goal ranked sixth on the team.

2006-07:  After suffering an ankle injury in fall camp, saw action in 30 games in his maiden season, totalled 3-8--11 to tie for tenth on MSU’s scoring charts...After tallying 1-3--4 in his first 18 games,  finished season by racking up 2-5--7 in the last 12 contests....First career goal came vs. Princeton in home nonconference game Dec. 30, 2006...Collected first career GWG when he scored in overtime to give MSU a 2-1 victory over Michigan Tech Feb. 3.

Ranked third (and led Burnaby) in scoring in the British Columbia Hockey League in 2005-06 with 31-51—88 in 57 games…Burnaby captured 2005-06 Canadian Junior A national title...An assistant captain with the Express, totalled 30-35--65 while playing for three different BCHL teams (Prince George, Victoria and Cowichan Valley) in 2004-05...Had 21-11--32 with Cowichan Valley in 2003-04.
