Torrance, CALIF.--- The Minnesota State men's track and competed in the Mt. Sac Relays Friday April 14
th.
The team of
Reid Diamond,
Tanner Ogren,
Vance Barnes, and
Paul Selman finished sixth in the 4x100m relay with a time of 41.22. The 4x400m relay team of
John Schuster,
Jovonte' Suber,
Isaiah Pitchford, and
Morris Dennis broke the school record and finished first with a time of 3:11.75. The previous record was held by R. Scott, Eric Johnson, DaWayne Wright, and Dl Wright and set in 1993.
Michael Sandle finished first in the high jump with a leap of 6'10.75" which ties for the fifth best mark in DII this season and is a provisional qualifier. In the triple jump
London Thurman (48'7.85") finished third and
Alex Campbell (46'6.5") finished sixth.
Minnesota State will continue Saturday as some team members will compete in the Long Beach Invite in Norwalk Calif., and the rest will compete in the Lee Krough Invite in St. Peter, Minn.
