Los Angeles, CA.--- The Minnesota State men's track and competed in the Cal State LA Twilight Thursday April 13
th.
The 4x100m team of
Reid Diamond,
Tanner Ogren,
Vance Barnes, and
Paul Selman finished second with a time of 41.64. In the 100m dash
Selman (10.60) finished third,
Barnes (10.76) finished fifth,
Ogren (10.78) finished sixth, and
Michael Sandle (10.80) finished eighth.
In the long jump
Sandle (22'9.75") finished third and
Alex Campbell (22'8") finished fourth.
Elijah Calderon-Pitchford finished first in the triple jump with a leap of 48'8.25".
Jeff DeCock (6'8.25") finished first in the high jump,
Campbell (6'8.25") finished second, and
London Thurman (6'4.25") finished sixth.
Minnesota State will continue next Friday in the Mt. Sac Invite in Los Angeles and Saturday some members will compete in the Long Beach Invite in Norwalk Calif. And the rest will compete in the Lee Krough Invite in St. Peter, Minn.
