Maryville, MO.-- Several Minnesota State men's track and field members traveled to
Maryville Missouri Friday and Saturday to compete in the Herschel Neil Decathlon hosted at Northwest Missouri State University.
Jack Curtis finished first with a total of 6341 points and took first place in the 100-meter dash with a time of 10.93 as well as first place in the high jump clearing 6'9".
Calvin Buesgens finished fourth with a total of 5650 points and had the top throw in javelin of 149'5".
Joe Williams finished fifth on the day with a total of 5317 points.
Next weekend the squad will split as invitees will attend the Hamline Invitational in Minneapolis and the remainder of the team will travel to Marshall,
Minn. to compete in the
SMSU Mustang Open.
