Mankato, Minn. ---   Minnesota State has announced promotions for this weekend’s Western Collegiate Hockey Association play-off series with Nebraska Omaha.

Up until 30 minutes prior to puck drop (6:07 p.m. to 6:37 p.m.) at Verizon Wireless Center, it will be a 30-Minute Power Play with $1 hot dogs, $2 canned beer, bottled pop and water.  The promotion will be available for the entire best-of-three series.

Also, MSU Student Ticket Distribution is set for today (Wednesday) beginning at 11:30 a.m. in Taylor Center with the first 285 students receive a free ticket for Friday and Saturday’s games.

Currently rated #10 in the USCHO.com poll, the Mavericks (22-11-2) host #20 Nebraska Omaha (18-16-2) at Verizon Wireless Center Friday (7:07 p.m.), Saturday (7:07 p.m.) and Sunday (7:07 p.m., if necessary).
