Mankato, Minn. --- Minnesota State junior Lisa Moline has been named Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Women’s Golfer of the Week.

Moline, a Duluth, Minn., native, averaged 79 strokes per round over this past weekend in helping the Mavericks to a tournament win and a dual victory.

Moline carded even par 72 on Sunday in finishing seven strokes better than all other golfers as the Mavericks defeated Southwest Minnesota State in dual action. She shot an 86 a day earlier and finished in ninth place to help MSU win the three-team Maverick Round Up held in New Ulm.

Next action for Minnesota State is the Reiver Fall Classic in Council Bluffs, Iowa, Thursday and Friday.
