St. Paul, Minn. --- The Minnesota State women's cross country team was picked fourth in the 2010 Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Preseason Coaches Poll with 70 points.
Augustana took the top spot, while Mary and Minnesota Duluth tied for second.
Junior
Ali Paul (Cedar Grove, Wis.) was picked as the team's 2010 Athlete to Watch. Paul finished 30th in last season's NCAA DII Championships with a time of 21:47.3.
The Mavericks begin their season September 18th in Northfield, Minn., for the St. Olaf Invitational.
