Mankato, Minn. --- Minnesota State women's cross country/track & field coach Jen Blue finished first in the women's division at the inaugural Mankato Marathon held today.

Blue, a Mankato native running in her fourth career marathon, turned in a personal-best time of 3:06.29 in finishing :01.31 ahead of her closest competitor in the 26.2-mile course.  Blue's time placed her 21st overall in the race, which featured 2,000 competitors.
